Papa, Ollie, Roland and I ventured out on this chilly afternoon to go see the ducks and take Ollie and Roland for a walk.   There wasn't a lot going on in the playground so we went and looked at the trucks across the road.

Toy Story

After all of our play and  afternoon snack Roland and I sit and watch a short video before we head back to his house for his nap.  A morning at school, trains, planes and automobiles at Grandmas and a video bring the afternoon to a close. Today we were watching Toy Story (the original).  Woody has indeed lost his hat.  We watch until Sid is introduced.  He's to scary.

More Track Fun!

I spent a few minutes making a tunnel and a few small hills for Rolands' trains on the tracks that will eventually go outside.  We had a fabulous time.   I wanted to really see what Roland saw at floor level.   At home his focus is on his Disney cars but at Grandma's it all things trains. 

Grandma Is Bugging Me!

I bought this track to put outside when the weather gets warmer but I decided to put it together for a trial run inside.   Roland loved it and I was getting in his way with his hot wheel cars. (Grandma's can do that).   He just wanted his trains on the track.  You can hear him say STOP Please and a couple of nice Don't cars!  There is a corner of the back yard that will make a great race track.   PaPa was on the floor taking the video.  I was holding the track.  My new camera was set on a black and white mode with selected color. Roland was wearing a yellow shirt and the track was yellow so it worked!  I just love this boy!

A Lazy Monday at Grandma's

Roland spent a morning with me. Kasey had some errands to run.  No school on Mondays so we had a great morning exploring outside, eating a tootsie pop and playing with his trains.  He is changing every day.   We got a new book from the library, Red Car Red Bus. He knows AGAIN!!!! I am so lucky to be able to be part of Rolands life.  He loves me and shows it and that makes my heart melt.
